Plan description

After the lecture on the snow, practice driving on the well-maintained experience course. Once you get used to driving, let's go to the wilderness outside the course! It's a non-compacted snow area, so let's enjoy the powder run to our heart's content! *Only Japanese and English are supported.

The event is held at Naeba Ski Resort, which is easily accessible from the metropolitan area! You can drive it by yourself. Let's go to the natural snowy field to experience an extraordinary experience ♪

Kappa Snowmobile Land offers tours tailored to the physical strength and skill level of our customers. First, we will give you a lecture on the basic operations of a snowmobile on a prepared trial course and practice driving! Don't worry, we will give you a detailed lecture ☆ Learn the tips for uphill, downhill, and small slopes while actually driving!

To nature outside the course!

After taking the course, we will immediately set off to the snowy fields of nature ♪ First, we will drive under the guidance of a guide. Make sure to follow the guide closely! Once you get used to it, you can ride freely through the rough terrain of nature, unlike the prepared trial course. You'll have plenty of fun on natural terrain such as waves and slopes! Experience the exhilaration of snowmobiling in a silver world as far as the eye can see.

Time schedule

Meeting / reception Reception is available at Naeba Ski Resort/Kappa Snowmobile Land (*attached to the slopes on the side of the day-trip ski center "N Plateau"). At the reception desk, you will sign the pledge, confirm the rental, and pay the fee. After checking in, pick up your helmet and move to the snowmobile area!

Safety explanation/lecture Basic practice at Mobile Land, which has compacted snow and leveled ground to make it easy to practice. The guide will give a lecture on how to ride a snowmobile, how to use the accelerator, etc. Let's actually drive a snowmobile, such as how to go straight and turn.

Depart for the snowfield Once you get used to driving a snowmobile, it's time to move onto the snowy field. Make sure to follow the guide closely! While touring, you may even encounter deer and monkeys!

Touring First, we drove through the uncompacted snow zone under the guidance of a guide. Once you get used to it, try running on unleveled snow fields with natural terrain! Experience the real thrill of snowmobiling in the vast snowy fields. Once you arrive at the snowfield, run as much as you like!

Touring Enjoy a large-scale course that winds up the mountain path, takes sharp turns, and lets you feel the great outdoors!

End / dissolution Return from the snowfield to Mobileland and return the snowmobile to its designated position. Return to the reception desk, return the helmet, and disperse.

Q. There will be 4 adults. Two of us can ride in tandem x 2 (2 adults) and the other 2 adults can ride on their own snowmobiles. However, I am not able to book 4 pax in the portal because the maximum selection is 3 pax on 23 Dec 2023. Please help, thanks.

A. Thank you for your inquiry.
As you indicated, we can handle maximum of 3 vehicles at our snowmobile tours to ride a at same a time.
It is possible for you to ride tandem with your mother.
Please note that it costs ¥12,000 per person, whether single or tandem.

Next, we will show you how to make a reservation of 4pax in the portal.
You will need to enter the reservation twice.
Please submit reservation requests for 2 people each for the same date and time under the same representative's name.
Then, in the notes section of one of the reservations, please write "Tandem request".
We will then take steps to grant your request.

Q. Hi, may I know when I can book (3 adults & 1 child) for the snow mobiles for 25 Dec or 26 Dec 2023 morning? Also, how much for my child (13 years old) to ride tandem? Thanks!

Naeba Kappa Snowmobile Land will open on December 23th.
Reservations will be accepted from October 1st.

The price of the tour has not yet been officially decided.
We will make an announcement after the contract with Naeba Ski Resort ends.
However, there will be no significant change from last year's figures.

Q. 1. There will be 6 adults and 2 children (age 12 and 15) in our group. Can all of us go together simultaneously for this ride? Are the kids allowed to ride with adults? 2. We willl be from Gala Yuzawa. How to get to this place?

・To participate in the tour at the same time, please ride in parent-child tandem x 2 (2 adults and 2 children) and tandem x 2 (4 adults).

・To get to Naeba Ski Resort, please take a bus from Echigo-Yuzawa Station.

Q. Do I have to stay at Naeba prince hotel or just join snow mobile is ok? And if I don’t have lisence and it’s first try It’s okay?

Non-guests of the Naeba Prince Hotel can participate in the snowmobile rides.
Please apply from this site.
Also, snowmobile tours do not require a license.
Before the tour, the instructor will explain the operation and how to ride. An instructor will always accompany the tour, so don't worry even if it's your first time.

Q. I will be staying at Naeba Prince Hotel from 19 to 23 Dec 2022. I would like to book snowmobile rides (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 13) during that period. Is this available? Thanks.

Sorry, Naeba Kappa Snowmobile Land will be open from December 24th, so we cannot accept reservations for your desired date.
