Why don't you make your own accessories with silk fabrics that you weave yourself?
Hand-woven from the fabric using an old-fashioned hand machine (binding machine), and tailor it together with the craftsman.

(Time required 90 minutes · ¥ 4,000) up to 2 people
Weekly fire, water, gold
○ Choose a silk thread of your favorite color and weave a 13 cm x 3 cm cloth.
○ After that, tailor work with the craftsman and finish it as an accessory. (It is also nice to weave with gold and silver thread)
○ This is a unique production experience that creates the perfect color for your textile accessories.
※ The day of the event is different only for accessory production (every week fire, water, gold)
This is a valuable opportunity to experience the nationally designated traditional craft "Nishijin-zukuri Honzukuri Tsumegaki Hontsuzureori" (one of Nishijin-ori). You can feel the tradition of Nishijin while weaving using traditional hand machines (binding machines) and tools. Craftsmen in the workshop, including traditional craftsmen, will carefully guide you, so even those who are new to weaving can rest assured.
We have hundreds of beautiful silk threads available, so choose the one that suits you best.
An elegant silk fabric accessory that you won't find anywhere else. It looks great on kimono!
