We cannot fix the day of the week or the time, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation with safety as our top priority. We may switch to online lessons during the state of emergency. The venue is the most used in the morning. We take enough time before and after the lesson to avoid meeting other groups. Also, refrain from stretching while sitting on the floor or touching the body. The lyrics of the practice song will be sent as a PDF file in advance. Let's have a wonderful time while disinfecting the mask and hands!

What kind of person is the instructor? 【Nice to meet you! This is Kanae Shirai] Nice to meet you! This is Nae. Fascinated by Hawaiian music and Hawaiian culture, I select and choreograph songs. At Yokohama Hula Studio, I want people to feel that when they move their bodies while listening to beautiful songs, they feel that their hearts are calm and clear, and that it is fun to express the lyrics. I started going to Hawaii when I was in my twenties and learned hula in Japan. The teacher continued to learn from Hawaiian Kum (master), and he was a wonderful person who is familiar with culture and history such as Hawaiian, and spent valuable time with his friends. After getting married, I couldn't spend my time and money like I did when I was single, and it became difficult to keep going. I created Yokohama Hula Studio while exploring the forms of learning that I can do in my life. I don't have much knowledge or experience now, but I want to continue learning about Hawaii throughout my life.
