The plan is to make a lamp shade by selecting several silk threads from about 200 colors and wrapping them around a wooden frame. A wonderful lamp shade is completed in as little as an hour! A wooden frame is a wooden tool that has been used for generations during weaving preparation. It can be used as a wall-mounted type as well as enjoyed by placing it. The size of the lampshade is 10cm x 10cm x 17cm. On the day You can take it home.
Watching a video of Nishijin nail scraping weaving and explaining the production procedure while watching the loom and tools of the workshop. Then, the process of winding is started from the selection of yarn. There are about 16 looms in the workshop, and there are also large looms that can be woven by 4 to 8 people at a time. Traditional craftsmen and craftsmen will gently support you to create wonderful works of Nishijin-ori. Please feel free to contact us regarding color schemes and designs.
