Plan description

Shogawa River flows through Gokayama, famous for its Gassho-zukuri (traditional Japanese-style houses). It takes about an hour and a half from Toyama City, but it is well worth it. The course passes through a gorge and allows you to enjoy the nature of the mountain valley. There are also souvenir shops at rest areas, so you can enjoy the tourist atmosphere. Reservations are accepted for groups of four or more.

A veteran river guide will accompany you, so even beginners are okay! Life jackets for torrents are excellent in buoyancy even for those who cannot swim. It can be held without problems even in the rain or a slight typhoon.
