At "Satsuma tinware Iwakiri Mikunido", you can experience tin plate making from adult to children. The time is about one hour, so you can participate between sightseeing.
One to 10 people can be accommodated at one time. Why do not you make one original tin plate in the world?

Experience traditional crafts unique to Satsuma

At the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, "Satsuma tinware" became widely known as a special product of Satsuma, with the improvement of its technique as a craft under the guidance of Shimazu Nariakira. Decades of experience are required to acquire the processing technology. Please experience the traditional crafts created by the history of the Satsuma Domain, which cannot be found anywhere else.
