With a clear view from your SUP board to over 10m of the lake bottom, you can fully enjoy the underwater beauty. This is a special experience that you cannot get anywhere else. Natural beauty: Surrounded by the somma mountains, Lake Shikotsu is the perfect place to experience Hokkaido's majestic nature. The abundance of flora and fauna, which can be viewed from a SUP board, is very appealing to nature lovers. You will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature that changes its appearance depending on the season. Professional guide: This tour is provided by a long-established SUP business, so you can rest assured knowing that you will be guided by a professional guide. Local experts will explain the charm and history of the lake, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding and enjoy it. We hope that all participants will be able to fully enjoy Hokkaido's nature and luxurious time on a SUP board while paying attention to safety. I hope you have a good trip and a great SUP experience!
Cruising on Lake Shikotsu, with its majestic caldera lake scenery of Mt. Eniwa, Mt. Tarumae, and Mt. Fuppushi, is a sport that lets you feel close to nature and fully enjoy it. This plan is about a two-hour course, so it is recommended for those who want to enjoy both SUP and sightseeing in Hokkaido.
Before the experience, you will be given a pre-lecture, and if you have any questions during the experience, we will explain them to you in detail, so even beginners can experience it with confidence. The guide is a SIJ Japan SUP Instructor Association certified instructor, a WAFA Outdoor First Aid holder, and an ACA certified international instructor, so you can enjoy SUP with peace of mind.
If you wish, we can pick you up from a hotel in the center of Sapporo. If you would like to pick up and drop off, please let us know the pick-up location in advance.

Lake Shikotsu Onsen Town No. 4 Parking Lot (Chitose River Headwaters)
About 70 minutes by car from Sapporo Station, about 30 minutes from Chitose IC. *If you come by car, parking will cost 500 yen. Please tell the parking attendant that you would like to move to Parking Lot No. 4.
For those coming by public transport Hokkaido Chuo Bus operates a bus route connecting Lake Shikotsu - Chitose Station - Minami-Chitose Station - New Chitose Airport. For detailed information such as timetables and fares, please visit the Hokkaido Chuo Bus website. ■ From Chitose From JR Chitose Line "Chitose" Station or "Minami-Chitose" Station, board the Hokkaido Chuo Bus bound for "Lake Shikotsu" (route number: Sora 4) and get off at the last bus stop, "Lake Shikotsu" (approximately 44 minutes from Chitose Station, approximately 50 minutes from Minami-Chitose Station). ■ From the airport From New Chitose Airport, board the Hokkaido Chuo Bus bound for "Lake Shikotsu" (domestic stop 28 or 1, international stop 85).
*If you would like a pick-up service, please let us know your preferred pick-up location (a hotel in central Sapporo or the north exit of Sapporo Station). *Central area: within a 1km radius of Sapporo Station, and within a 1km radius of Susukino Subway Station.
