ヤシガニに出会えることも 世界最大の陸生甲殻類ヤシガニが無人島に多く生息しています。夜行性で通常は昼間は遭遇できない生き物ですが、生息数の多い無人島では昼間でも目撃することがあります。（５回に一回くらいの遭遇率）
