Confine the small shellfish and beach glass of various colors and shapes collected in the famous sand beach "Tochihiki beach" in a tube.
Experience time is only 15 minutes, and we make only one kaleidoscope to make with "gift from the sea".
Every time you look at the finished kaleidoscope, you will be able to revitalize the beautiful beaches and sounds of Tohikihama, and the memories of your trip.
You can make only one kaleidoscope in the world using the materials collected at Kotohiki Beach. Looking through the completed kaleidoscope, you will be drawn into the beautiful geometric pattern of shells and beach glass. You can also learn the mechanism of kaleidoscope through production such as assembling a reflector. If you have a small number of people, you can participate on the day without reservation! (Reservation required for 10 people or more)
It is about a 10-minute walk to Kotohiki Beach, which is famous for its national natural monument and singing sand, which is also designated as a scenic spot. Kotohiki Beach is a beautiful sandy beach of white sand and blue pine that represents the Sea of Japan. After experiencing the singing sand, be sure to experience crafting!
A landmark is a building full of warmth of wood, standing in a peaceful rural landscape ☆ Opening hours are from 9 am to 5 pm. The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
