Mitsunori Nishikori Studio, which is engaged in activities to widely know the traditional techniques of fabrics including Nishiki woven fabrics. We open the studio to the public, we visit the factory, we are actually hand-woven weaving experience, we have prepared experiences using the brocade to make accessories. Please touch Nishiki through Nishiki woven work and production site and experience the history of Nishiki.
It was my first time trying hand weaving with a handloom, and I absolutely loved the process! The rhythmic and focused nature of weaving was therapeutic, and I felt a sense of deep satisfaction upon completing my first textile piece. The instructor was patient and encouraging, providing valuable guidance throughout the process. I was also amazed by the vast array of stunning textile works on display at the workshop. Each piece showcased the creativity and skill of the artisans, and it was truly inspiring to see such a diverse collection of weaving techniques!
丁寧にご指導いただき、2時間程でなんとか出来上がりました。最初はどうなるかと思いましたが、だんだん慣れてきて楽しくなりあっという間に終わってしまいました。詳しく説明しながら素敵な作品をたくさん見せていただきました。ありがとうございました。

孫娘2人(小3と年長)とその両親と参加しましたが2人とも1人で織物を織ることができました。時間をかけて苦労して織ったので、後で本物の織物作品を見たとき、その大変さが少しわかったようでした。大人も子供も楽しめる体験でした。

とても高技術の伝統文化を少しでも知る事が出来る上に、楽しみながら手、足を使い編み込んでいく作業は脳にも良い作業だと思います。
最後にバックのポケットとして貼り付けて持ち帰らせて頂く、、このお洒落な完成の発想に子供達は大喜びでした。

You can see the art works of Nishiki's traditional fabric with commentary. Please enjoy the highest peak textile which can be changed by light and angle.
You can see fabric restored from ancient fabrics we are making at Mitsunori Nishikori Studio. You can feel the wisdom and ingenuity of the predecessor.
We have 5 types of weaving experience. You can experience the fine craftsmanship skills. Elementary school studentsYearThere is also a plan that can be woven from.
Anyone can weave it by all means. Please enjoy shopping on your way home.
