At the Toyosaki Nagaya store in Kita-ku, Osaka, hand-woven experience classes are held at any time, and anyone from beginners to children can enjoy and easily create works such as stoles and table centers.
We had a fun 2.5 hour time att the weaving shop!
We could pick so many different colours!
My five year old had much fun(she did a bit herself, and then roamed around the shop).
Notice that the shop is not so big, so depending on your child I think it should not be too small.
初めて手織り体験をさせてもらいました。両親と子ども二人、５人で参加しました。73歳から6歳という年齢の幅があり、また日頃から織物の経験が全くないメンバーでしたが、丁寧に教えてくださったおかげで素晴らしい作品を作る事ができました。また、とても楽しくあっという間に時間が過ぎました。大阪旅行のイベントの一つでしたが、思い出に残り、またメンバーのみんなも大満足の時間を過ごす事ができたようで、私も嬉しく思いました。子供たちは旅から帰った後もまた体験したいと話をしています。この度は、大変お世話になりました。
あれこれ考えずに織り進めていくと素敵な作品ができあがります！友人や家族でおしゃべりしながら体験できるので楽しいです。作り手の個性も出やすく本当に楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。

Saori weaving is made by using the thread called residue without waste. Therefore, there is a rarity that you can only meet the existing thread at that time, so you can weave your own work that is unique in the world.
